How can I create download system that start mp3 downloading from my website? (not to use sharing websites.)?

I have uploaded my mp3 files on my website but by clicking on the links the download won't start. Also when I try to download by any download manager it won't start it? HELP ME PLEASE !

  1. I am still learning web design (into javascript now) but i think you will need a scripting language (most likely PHP) to allow the user to download stuff.
