Can I download an MP3 recording and transfer it to a CD?

I have been looking in Amazon for a Guided Relaxation CD and I keep finding MP3 downloads for most of the recordings. When I click on the MP3 option, it says that it is compatible with Windows Media Player. I don't have an MP3 player. Does this mean that I can download it onto my Windows Media Player and then make a CD out of it? Their CD versions of the same items cost a fortune and the MP3 downloads are much cheaper.

1. Go for it -- you can burn as many CDs as you want for you own use. Then, the CD can serve as your backup copy in the event of whatever. When you burn the CD, leave the file format as is. Burn an Audio CD; that's the only disc format that will play in any CD player.
